The default configuration of a tournament causes all matches that contain only wrestler to automatically be advanced with the BYE result.  No bout card is printed for such matches.  This occurs when you start the tourmament and also occurs in subsequent rounds where appropriate.

For example, if a consolation match in round 2 ends up with only one wrestler, that wrestler will automatically advance with a BYE to round 3.

This behavior can be changed by checking the "Have contestant in BYE matches report" box in the window that comes up via the "File", "Ladder/Misc. preferences..." menu.  Some tournaments require the wrestler to report even when he/she has a bye.

If you check that box, bout cards are printed for matches with only one wrestler.  The announcer would then call that wrestler to the appropriate table where he/shw would sign the bout card (to prove he/she was present) and the card would then be returned to the TournamentSR computer.  In this scenario, the match result is manually entered as "BYE".
