Trackwrestling has added a texting feature for $10.00/day that will send those that sign up their team that will text you and upcoming bout about 15 minutes or so that gives coaches a heads up so they can their wrestlers ready and to the right mat in plenty of time. Works really well in facilities that have good cell phone reception. Was hoping Tournamnet SR could see if they could develop that feature and add it to the cost of the program download.
In order to send text messages, you would need to either have an active Internet connection or connect a cell phone to the TournamentSR computer. If you feel this is an important feature, make sure you reply to this topic with a preference: Internet or phone.
Just a reminder that if you connect the TournamentSR computer to a WiFi router and use AnnouncerSR, anyone with a smart phone, tablet, or laptop can see which wrestlers have been called to which mats. We feel this is just as effective as sending text messages.
