I was wondering how the "force a tie after 5 matches" box worked? Does it switch the brackets in a 16 man bracket automatically when a wrestler would be required to wrestle more than 5 times to a tie for 3rd place bracket? Will it print out the bracket at the end with the updated tie for 3rd place?
The check box only applies to standard 16 wrestler elimination ladders. If the box is checked and any wrestler in the 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, or 7th/8th placing matches has already competed in 5 matches, the placing match for that wrestler ends in a tie (is not wrestled). The program automatically creates fills in the tie result instead of generating a bout card.
This allows most placing matches to be competed while ensuring no one wrestles more than 5 times.
