When you double click on a tournament data file, TournamentSR does not start up - some other program usually runs.  The other program is usually a browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox).  If this happens to you, just close the program that started up.

In order to use a tournament data file, you must always launch TournamentSR first.  From within the program, use the "File", "Open..." menu option to select and read the tournament data file.

The reason for this is the same as not requiring you to use a "set up" program to install TournamentSR.  The format we use for tournament data (called XML) is common to many programs.  We have chosen not to interfere with other programs at the cost of not being able to double click on tournament data files.
