How can I create a different bracket type than the standard 16 man? I need to make a bracket where the losers from the first 2 rounds drop to wrestle for 5th/6th and the losers in the semis wrestle for 3rd/4th. This is to adjust to the 5 match per day rule. Thanks!
The different bracket types for a given size are controlled by the "Scoring places:" choice. In your case, the correct selection is "1st, 2nd, two 5ths, and two 6ths".
The selection describes the placement points. The winner of the 3rd/4th place match gets the same placement points as the winner of the 5th/6th place match. This is done to most closely follow NFHS rules (which don't describe such a bracket).
You can see that the bracket display/printout uses the "Third" and "Fifth" terminology because this is what users expect. See section 2.1.1 of the Reference Manual (available on the page displayed when you click on ">> Help" above).
